FRS Express des îles, the leading shipping company in the West Indies, has been serving the most beautiful destinations in the Caribbean since 1987. The Guadeloupean shipping company is based at the Bergevin ferry terminal in Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe. In operation for over 30 years now, FRS Express, as it’s commonly known, initially provided a fast ferry service between the islands of Guadeloupe, Martinique, Les Saintes and Marie Galante, all French international departments, then in 1987 it extended its services to Dominica, and in 1994 St Lucia.
FRS Express des îles is the friend of the spontaneous and daily traveler, as it offers a reliable, cheap and pleasant ferry service between the islands of Martinique, Guadeloupe, Dominica, Saint Lucia, Marie Galante and Les Saintes.

A pollution prevention and control plan (SOPEP)
An international wastewater pollution prevention certificate
An international oil pollution prevention certificate
International Air Pollution Prevention (IAPP) certificates for each engine
A refuse register
The engines fitted to the ships are subject to the TIER II emission standard. An electronic system manages the gas emissions of these engines to keep them below the maximum allowed.
